About Us

Our Story

RCCG House of Praise, Jesus Arena, was originally part of the RCCG House of Praise Parish family, and was later christened 'HOP Golden Arena' in 2011 under the leadership of Pastor Oluranti Orioke.  The church was newly renamed in April 2024 by divine instruction. Jesus Arena is a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), a worldwide church established in 1952 by Pa Josiah Akindayomi and now led by the present General Overseer, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, alongside his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye.

Jesus Arena is a Christ-centred ministry founded on the word of God and with a vision to 'bring hope, equip lives and affect destinies'. At Jesus Arena we believe that every life is important to God and there is no story that God cannot change and use for His glory.

To make heaven.

To take as many people with us.

To have a member of RCCG in every family of all nations.

To accomplish No. 1 above, holiness will be our lifestyle.

To accomplish No. 2 and 3 above, we will plant churches within five minutes walking distance in every city and town of developing countries and within five minutes driving distance in every city and town of developed countries.

We will pursue these objectives until every Nation in the world is reached for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Beliefs

ABOUT THE BIBLE

  • We believe that the Bible is the written and revealed will of God.

  • We believe that the entire Scripture, both Old and New Testament are written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit – II Tim. 3:16-1

ABOUT GOD

  • We believe that there is only one God, Who is the Creator of both visible and invisible creatures -Gen. 1:1; Ps. 86:9-10; Is. 43:10-11; John 1:1-3

ABOUT JESUS CHRIST

  • We believe that He is the Son of God; Who took away our sins, and the Savior of the world.

  • We also believe that Jesus is God and was born by Mary the Virgin. He is God revealed in the flesh. Through Him all things were created. John 1:1-14; John 14:9; Matt. 1:18-25, Is 9:6; Is 53:5-6.

  • We believe in His death on the Cross, and resurrection, by which He brought redemption – Is. 53:4-10; I Pet. 2:24; John 10:11; Gal. 3:13, Matt. 20:28; I Cor. 15:3; Rom. 4:25; II Cor. 5:14; Heb 2:9; Heb 9:26.

ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT

  • We believe the Holy Spirit is the third Person in the TRINITY. He has the same power, the same glory with God the Father and God the Son – John 14:16-17; John 15:26; Matt. 3:16; Acts 13:24.

ABOUT THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

  • We believe all believers should ask for the infilling of the Holy Spirit, which is a promise of the Father and His gift to those who obey Him. Luke 24:49; John 4:14-26; Acts 1:4-5. Speaking in tongues is a manifestation of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:4; Acts 10:34-36; Acts 19:2-6

ABOUT WATER BAPTISM

  • We believe that all members of this church should receive immersion baptism in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as an outward sign of true repentance from sin and of being joined with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. Matt. 28:19;  Acts 2:38; Rom. 6:1.

ABOUT THE LORD'S SUPPER

  • As instituted by our Lord Jesus, we believe that all Christians are to obey the command to gather regularly to share the bread and wine till He returns. Luke 22:17-20; Matt 26:26-29; Mark 14:22-25; 1 Cor 11:23-30.

ABOUT JUSTIFICATION

  • We believe that by God's grace believers are cleansed from their sin and are able to stand before God as though they never sinned. Acts 13:39; Rom. 3:25-26; Rom 5:1; I Cor. 6:11; Gal. 3:24; John 1:12-13.

ABOUT SANCTIFICATION

  • We believe in sanctification, the process by which our souls are progressively and completely cleansed after we have been justified and freed from our sins. John 17:15-17; I Thess. 4:3; I Thess. 5:23-24.

ABOUT THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST

  • We believe the second coming of Christ will be in physical form and will be visible to all. Acts 1:9-11; I Thess. 4:15-17;  I Cor. 15:51-52.

ABOUT HEAVEN AND HELL

  • We believe in heaven and hell. The Bible teaches us that there is eternal life and eternal punishment– Matt. 25:46
